Active Reading

While actively reading I pull a lot of understanding and questioning annotations. In the future, it would be beneficial to read all the documents before diving into annotating so that I can better link texts. I don’t do a lot of challenges, which is a problem because that is how your further develop claims in prospective arguments. In these two examples, you can see me linking some texts together. Active reading is important in making arguments later down the line because you can make preliminary links and you can challenge or add to the scholar’s arguments as you are reading. I think it would also be beneficial to annotate more and look for more connections or places to make arguments.
