When writing I tend to overuse commas. Going through the three writing projects I have tried to use other punctuation and craft my words around the punctuation. While I might not have been completely successful in doing this, I felt like I was attempting to get out of my comfort zone. In the third writing project I used commas and periods, as expected but I also used a semicolon twice. I have noticed that with this third writing project I was sloppy in my proofreading abilities and did not read through my work before submitting it. As a result, I had misplaced punctuation and words that did not belong.
